mPOWER, which stands for Money for Property Owner Water and Energy efficiency Retrofitting, can finance energy efficiency improvements, water conservation, and energy generation systems such as solar photovoltaic to qualified property owners, with no upfront costs.
mPOWER is a Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. The amount financed is amortized and the annual amount due is added to the property tax bill each year until paid in full. Water and energy cost savings may be enough for property owners to pay the additional amount on the property tax bill.
