About Us

A catalyst for the Arts and Humanities. Since 1983, the Arts Council of Placer County has been building community throughout Placer County. We believe that art should be a part of everyday living and that, when it is, everyone in the community benefits from a higher quality of life.

The Arts Council of Placer County (dba PlacerArts), serves the communities of Placer County by presenting quality visual arts exhibits, tours, and events. We promote and advocate for all arts across Placer County and nearby regions to enrich and help develop the artistic culture of this region of Northern California.
